Kathu Police told The Phuket News today (January 12) the man was found on his bed inside his hotel room at Amata Resort.
Kathu District Police Superintendent Pol Col Jirapat Pochanapant said the man’s name was being withheld due to a request by the Australian Embassy, and the man’s body would be taken to Bangkok.
