Me & Malisa: The Dressing Room is the brainchild of Panatta “Mam” Bunthanom and Malisa Darbhatisha, and is dedicated to clothing, accessories, hats, homeware, art and furniture.
Khun Panatta has worked as the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa’s creative consultant for the last eight years, and since she was 20 years-old has been somehow involved in the design industry.
She once worked as a creative consultant for Anantara, plus was the creative assistant at Bed Supperclub in Bangkok for eight years. The new shop is a way for her to express her creativity.
Me & Malisa houses simple, stylish clothing from Bangkok designer Kittikorn Kongtabag, selling for anywhere from B2,000 to B14,000. Meanwhile, jewellery sourced from various designers in Thailand ranges from chunky stone necklaces to sparkly crystal pieces; distinctive art by Bangkok-based Khun Opex costs around B15,000 to B30,000, with flower arrangements also available upon request.
In her other role as stylist, Khun Panatta can help women find an outfit and accessories for that special occasion. If you purchase clothes from the store, a makeover comes free of charge. Women interested are invited in for a chat – or champagne – first, so Khun Panatta can get a feel for your personality.
“I love dressing up a woman and making them feel fabulous,” she says.
The store will hold its official opening on February 14 at 6.30pm, and will feature two fashion shows.
