The play is a modern musical based on the classic ugly duckling story. It follows the life of a duckling before he turns into a beautiful swan and features lots of lively music and dance.
The play involves around 30 students from grades 1-9. Students from grade 11 have also helped with stage management.
Artistic Director Colby Hilker said, “The production is sure to be educational, fitting in perfectly with the mission of the school.”
The Thai staff will be assisting with hair and makeup, while parents of the students have been helping with the costumes.
This production promises to be a fantastic spin-off from a classic fairytale, adding to the school’s list of successful, creative productions.
Their last play was The Wizard of Oz, which was a popular event.
Performances are open to the public and tickets are currently on sale at B300 for adults and B150 for children.
