A rescue volunteer said that Mr Aug suffered three broken ribs and internal bleeding. After being treated at Patong Hospital he was moved to Vachira Phuket Hospital where he is now said to be recovering.
The condition of the dog was not recorded.

PHUKET: A 75-year-old foreign motorcyclist, Jean Marie Aug, was taken to Patong hospital after crashing into a dog on Nanai Rd, Patong, on Friday evening.
