The Social Security Office has opened a network of 68 occupational disease clinics around the country to ensure that employees with work-related medical problems are served and that they receive their compensation.
Labour Minister Chalermchai Srion said Monday that Nopparat Ratchathani Hospital would serve as the training centre for medical personnel to learn about occupation medicine in a project run in collaboration with the Public Health Ministry.
