The martial arts superstar kicked off his holiday on December 2 and was seen on a late night flight from Bangkok onto the island wearing a baseball cap pulled over his face and with dark sunglasses on.
A few days later, he was spotted at Joe's Downstairs restaurant in Kalim, a spot where according to Executive Assistant Manager and Director of the Baan Rim Pa Group, Sue Ultmann, he’s been more than just a few times.
“We normally have a policy where we don’t take photos of celebrities and famous people if they come, but actually JCVD usually initiates them [photo opportunities] and always poses for lots of photos with staff.
“Actually a few weeks after the last time he was here, in 2011, we received a letter full of photo prints of him with staff.”
