Pol Maj Gen Choti Chavalviwat, Commander of Phuket Provincial Police told The Phuket News today (January 28) that many of Mrs Jintana’s colleagues from both the Hilton and her previous workplace, Anantara, had been questioned about her murder.
Among the long list of people who were questioned about their association with Mrs Jintana were two employees at the Hilton, who were called to the police station.
“They were warned by Mrs Jintana about their work – she said it was not good enough,” said Maj Gen Choti.
“However, when we questioned them, they said they did not know anything about her murder.”
Police have no further evidence so the pair were let go.
Mr Choti said CCTV footage sent last week to the Forensics Centre in Bangkok had still not been returned. The police investigation was continuing, he said.
Mrs Jintana was shot dead on January 18 just north of the Kwang Rd intersection on Chao Fa West Rd in Phuket Town. Police believe her killing was work related.
