The theme of this year’s contest is “The magic and mystery of Amazing Thailand”. Cash prizes total B60,000 and the images will be shared globally by the TAT.
Contestants just need to register an account on www.tatnews.org and submit entries according to the rules stated on the website.
The submission period is now open and will close on August 2, 2013. You can enter as many images as you like, along with a caption in English for each photograph.
First place will receive a cash prize of B30,000; the first runner up with receive B20,000 while the second runner-up will receive B10,000.
Competition judges include Thai media experts, editors and photographers. The winners will be announced on TATNews.org on August 7 and the three winners will also be notified via email the following day.
The TAT says it is looking for “original photographs that are exciting and inspirational, that tell a story or share an experience – in short, images that will motivate viewers to visit this spot and turn their own cameras to this and similar subjects.”
