Royal Thai Police Adviser Gen Rachata Yensuang went to Bangla Rd to give the speech about security and confidence to police officers, from Phuket Police Commander Maj Gen Choti Chavaviwat down to tourist police volunteers.
After conferring his blessing on the massed ranks, and stressing that security is the first priority, he and other senior officers walked around Bangla Rd and greeted tourists.
