“Mr Moshe admitted all the charges,” the Deputy Phuket Police Commander, Pol Col Arun Keawwati, told The Phuket News.

David was transported in a police van from the Surat Thani provincial prison to Thung Thong police station in Kathu – not far from Ban Thong village, where the body of Hungarian Peter Reisz was found last Friday (November 30).

Mr Reisz had been stabbed multiple times and bashed in the head, and dumped, wrapped in plastic. The police believe he was murdered on November 24.

Tomorrow (December 7) the investigation team will take David to the site where the body of Mr Reisz was found. David will also appear in court on Friday to be formally charged with murder and enter a plea.

“The plea will depend on what Mr Moshe wants to do. He has his own lawyer,”  said Col Arun.

Moshe David, who is Hungarian and purported to be a friend of Mr Reisz, was arrested in Bangkok on Wednesday and transported to Surat Thani.

On Thursday a team of 10 to 15 police investigators from Phuket, Phang-Nga and Surat Thani provinces joined the convoy escorting David from Surat Thani to Phuket.

When he arrived at Thung Thong police station on Thursday evening, David looked displeased to see waiting journalists from The Phuket News, and hid his face with a coat.
