Soi Dog fundraiser promises a good time

PHUKET: Put on the black and white gear; prepare yourself for the gig of the year.

Thursday 26 April 2012, 03:46PM

It’s party time at the Soi Dog Foundation’s fundraiser soiree at the fabulous Xana Beach Club at Angsana Laguna Phuket resort in Laguna on Saturday, May 12.

The ticket price of B2500 includes a delicious buffet dinner and free flow beer and wine. Phuket’s best MC, Gary Holden will keep things moving and top DJ Ben Jay hits the music. Both are donating their valuable time in true SDF spirit.

All you need to do is put on something black, something white—or be a devil and wear both—and come along to be wined, dined and entertained—with some serious fund raising thrown in.

Some absolutely fantastic prizes in the raffle, silent and live auction. Our main sponsors are Pink Shrimp Yacht Charters, Soneva Kiri Six Senses and Evason Phuket. We also thank the Phuket News and Live 89.5, and Phuket Public Relations.

If you get too tired and emotional on the night take advantage of Angsana’s great special room rate of B3800 net per night, including a slap up breakfast. Reservations can be made on 076 324 101 or reservations-lagunaphuket@angsana.com

It’s all for a great cause. SDF is expanding operations to prevent thousands of unwanted puppies being born and dying from starvation and disease on Phuket—as well as increasing its presence in Bangkok. The expanded programme, called PUP [Prevent Unwanted Puppies] is an ambitious attempt to sterilise 20,000 animals over the next two years. It will cost BSDF 10 million in addition to SDF’s normal operating costs.

For bookings contact Cristy Baker at cristy@soidog-foundation.org or on 0840544367. Dress code: Black and white!
