Malone took the top prize after a play-off for first place against English pro Matthew Richardson.
The next tournament day in the Phuket Pro Challenge will be held on Saturday, April 2, at Laguna Phuket Golf Club and four more days are scheduled over the following months.
Each tournament day is open to a total of 48 players, in a stroke play challenge format that matches amateur and professional players.
