Phuket's Land Value Indicator: Patong, Kathu, Chalong
PHUKET: Land prices in Phuket can be a bit of a mystery, which is why The Phuket News, in collaboration with Engel & Völkers, is publishing the monthly Land Value Indicator.

Prices shown are based on valuations, not actual sale prices, which may vary tremendously depending on the size of the plot, grade, ease of access, proximity to power and roads and so on. The numbers should therefore be regarded as a guide only, and not as a definitive listing of sale prices.
The numbers in brackets give the range in values recorded in the Land Office’s Correct Accounts of Land Prices. Dark green areas are national park or forest reserve.
For the Land Value Indicator the map of the island has been sliced into six parts, one of which will be published each month, in rotation, before coming back and starting again.
