Phuket's first auction starts Saturday
Whether you’re in the market for a second hand truck or the contents of an ice-cream store, it may be worth heading to Thalang this weekend as a range of good will go under the hammer for the launch of Phuket’s first auction business.
Friday 27 May 2011, 06:11AM
The new auction venture is part of established Phuket company Safeway Asia.
Goods being offered to the highest bidder include used vehicles, boats, furniture and fitness equipment. Among the more unusual offerings are 6 airline seats, a collection VW beetle and a "sexy chair".
People interested in buying need to register at 8 am on Saturday (May 28), with the bidding due to begin at 10 am. It is expected to last 4-5 hours.
The auction will be conducted in English and Thai by a professional auctioneer.
