Details of the ceremony were announced by Phuket Governor Chokchai Dejamornthan this morning (Oct 15) during a meeting with officials from the Ministry of Interior.
Gov Chockchai said that Phuket, along with nine other provinces; Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Chiang Mai, Phisanuklok, Chanthaburi, Kanchanaburi, Nakhon Sri Thammarat, Trang and Yala will hold condolence ceremonies tomorrow.
“I hope that there will be more than 1,000 people who join together and offer their condolences to His Majesty the King,” Gov Chockchai said.
Any people wishing to attend the ceremony should arrive at Phuket Provincial Hall by 8:30am so that the start will not be disrupted.
Meanwhile members of the Zion Of God Church near Vichit Songkram School will hold a condolence ceremony to honour His Majeststyat 6pm today.
