Mr Reisz was reported missing to Samui police by his friends on November 27 and his body was found wrapped in black plastic bags nearby Bang Thong Village in Patong on November 30.

His hands were tied with nylon rope, with severe head trauma and with multiple stab wounds to his back.

It is believed that Mr Riesz may have been murdered over a land dispute involving fake documents and B15 million in Samui.

DNA tests are still in the process of being analysed and both Phuket and Samui police have not yet confirmed that the dead body is that of Mr Reisz.
