Provincial Police Chief Col Teeraphol Thipjaroen yesterday (Aug 2) presided over the opening of the training project being conducted at the Honda Safety Ride Park in Srisoonthorn, Thalang.

Also present were Provincial Police Deputy Chief Col Peerayuth Karajadee, Honda Safety Ride Park Phuket Manager Thamarak Hrudamkengkit and Phuket Numsang Co Ltd Executive Somchai Chanchoowanitchkul, as well as dozens of police chiefs, deputy chiefs and officers.

“Royal Thai Police bought Honda CBR300R motorbikes and issued them to all police stations across the country for patrol officers and traffic police to use,” Col Peerayuth explained.

Phuket received 140 of the them and distributed to each police station throughout the province, he added.

“Officers have been operating them, but many still lack the skills to handle this type of motorbike. Some officers were involved in road accidents themselves while riding the Honda CRB300R, so we came up with this training project to gave them more training,” Col Peerayuth said.

“The project aims to increase officers’ riding skills, to give new knowledge so officers can perform their duties better and to increase safety for officers while on duty using these motorbikes,” he noted.

“There will be 10 training classes with 50 officers in each class,” Col Peerayuth added.

What is so special about his motorbike?
Why was there not any 'looking' into police officers driving skills before accidents happened?

Who did perform/manage the professional training?
Something new? Then training/checking on skills first. Yes?
Photo shows just a class room session.
Not about practical motorbike training.
