Phuket Police closing in on ‘Wigged crims’
PHUKET: Although the ‘wigged criminals’ suspected of making off with two kilograms of gold in yesterday’s Phuket store jewellery store robbery are still to be apprehended, police believe they are closing in on the dubiously-dressed duo.

“Today we know one of the criminal's names,” Colonel Wanchai Palawan, the Chief of Police said.
“The man who was driving the motorcycle is called Kosol. He is of Mon ethnicity and we've already issued a warrant of arrest for him.”
Police admit however that the pillion passenger’s identity, who is also of Mon heritage, is unknown.
