Krit Jamkajornkiet and Panot Kingkaew beat Maha Sarakam in the competition’s Go event (a Chinese board game similar to chess).
Following that, another team of Phuket Go players, Sorawit Kingkaew and Pattarin Waiyakarn, won a silver medal, after beating Rayong in their final.
Phuket’s girls’ and boys’ tennis teams also picked up a bronze each in yesterday’s competition.
With one gold, two silvers and three bronze medals already won earlier in the week, (see earlier story here), Phuket’s tally now stands on 10 medals.
As of 10 am today (May 30) Bangkok still has a huge lead in the games, with 30 gold, 19 silver and 23 bronze medals.
Chonburi (16, 13 and13) is in second place followed by Suphanburi (11, 17 and 12).
