Moshe David, who holds both Israeli and Hungarian passports, was arrested in the Mahboonkrong area of Bangkok this afternoon. He is currently being questioned by immigration police, after which he is expected to be taken under police escort to Surat Thani.
Police are still seeking his alleged accomplice in the murder, named by police as Kvalka Lajos Gyoerey, also Hungarian.
Mr Reisz’s body, wearing only underwear, was found in Kathu last Friday (November 30) stabbed multiple times and bashed in the head, and wrapped in plastic. He is believed to have been murdered on November 24.
