There is a huge demand for quality staff in all industries within Phuket – a high percentage in the hospitality and tourism sector – especially when Phuket is about to enter its annual high season.
The 1,000 potential candidates – all who have expressed a keen interest in working in Phuket – come from around Thailand via bus for the event, right to your doorstep.
The privately chartered buses from eight surrounding provinces will bring the 1,000 potential and motivated job seekers who all have to preregister by uploading their resume on the website (www.phuketjobfair.com), which guarantees their place on the bus from their particular province.
Local businesses will be invited to take a booth at the show, which has huge benefits, including not only meeting and interviewing the 1,000 potential candidates, but also reducing the normal cost in employing new staff.
The weekend of October 27 and 28 has been carefully chosen so that it gives employers enough time to recruit and train the new staff before the start of the 2012/13 high season.
Each candidate at the event will have a unique ID number that potential employers can use to access their resume online, before interviewing and recruiting them.
The 1,000 candidates will each have a map that details the location of all the booths, and they can also use the large screen which will display company details and booth numbers during the two-day fair.
