Pittaya “Odd” Phimarnman was appointed Head Coach at the start of the 2016 AIS Southern Region Division 2 season by then president MaAnn Samran.
A message on the official Phuket FC 2016 Facebook page posted at around 7am this morning read:
Breaking News: Phuket FC Coach Odd Pitaya Pimanman and his assistant Coach Jew Niwat Nuisanga officially resigned from being the coaches for Phuket FC yesterday August 5.
They said the reason for their resignation is because they can no longer continue their job the way they had expected, and that Phuket FC has appointed Coach Noi to over see the team for the next coming match with Trang FC on Sunday August 7 until we have new coach.
Thank you for Coach Odd and Coach Jew for giving the best for Phuket FC.
The situation is not unusual for the club who often see two or three coaches come and go throughout the season. However, what is different in this case is that the coach has resigned and has not been sacked or “forced out” as has happened on previous occasions.
