The owner of the Oi Oi Oi Tattoo Shop on Rat-U-Thit 200 Pi Rd, 36-year-old Sirirot Thongsuk, told The Phuket News, “The thieves took four tattoo machines, a laptop computer, and a small digital camera. They left an axe behind, which they used to break in.

“I never thought anyone would break into my shop. I had heard that it happened to friends’ tattoo shops in Patong so perhaps I should have thought more about security.”

But, the optimistic Mr Sirirot said, “The thieves took four tattoo machines but were nice enough to leave one behind for me.”
