Acqua was named number five in the Thailand list, and the only mention from Phuket, while Zanotti II Ristorante Italiano, Eat Me restaurant, Le Normandie, and Nahm (all in Bangkok) took out the other top spots.
The award evening, held last week in Singapore, was held to announce the winners and celebrate the restaurateurs and chefs behind the Top 500 restaurants across 17 countries profiled by The Miele Guide, demonstrating the immense diversity and rich heritage of the gastronomic scene in Asia.
