Phuket: Phang Nga native arrested with kratom stash
PHUKET: A 21-year-old Phang Nga man was arrested after an official caught him at the Phuket bus station at around 9.30pm last night (October 30) with a 5kg haul of kratom leaves in his bag.

Deputy chief of Muang Phuket, Songkom Sinpradit, captured Thanit Praditnipol at the Phuket bus station after he caught a bus from Trang. People noticed he was acting strangely and he was carrying a black bag. They searched the bag and found 5kg of kratom.
“I work in a hotel in Phuket and my friends want to have a party there, so they asked me to find kratom for the 4x100 drug cocktail. So I went back to my home in Phang Nga to find kratom.”
Thanit was taken to Phuket Police Station and was arrested.
