Going into last Thursday’s round, 1Bar had a one point lead over Wet Dreams, but Wet Dreams scored a higher win last week bringing them level pegging with 1Bar.
1Bar took on Natalie Bar away from home last Thursday and managed to walk away with a 4-7 win, while Wet Dreams played at home against Genius and won 8-3 giving them the point they needed to bring them level with 1Bar.
Meanwhile, at the other end of the table, Champs Bar took on Dirty Nellies at home, and being the sportsmanlike bar that the are, Champs Bar gave Dirty Nellies one of their lady staff, Gigi, to play for them as one of Dirty Nellies’ players (no names mentioned COLIN) did a no show, and not for the first time either. Dirty Nellies walked away with a 5-6 victory.
Martin Swiss suffered a big 8-3 loss at home to Simon and Oils, while Sports Bar had a good 8-3 win at home over Min Bar.
In Thursday’s deciding games, Wet Dreams are set for an away game against Dirty Nellies (lets hope Colin shows up this week), while 1Bar are set to play at home to Sports Bar.
Should it still be a tie after Thursday’s game a decider between 1Bar and Wet Dreams will have to be played at a neutral venue, most likely Dirty Nellies.
