OrBorJor Hospital celebrates opening
PHUKET: The Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation (OrBorJor) Hospital opened on Tuesday with a promise of providing care equivalent to private hospitals but at public hospital prices.

OrBorJor president Paiboon Upatising said the hospital located on Sri Sena Road near Koh Siray will offer an alternative to overcrowded state hospitals.
He said it will also reduce the workload of other government hospitals.
The OrBorJor bought the land and the Phyathai Hospital building and renovated it under a budget of B845 million.
Outpatient services began on Wednesday and inpatient services will begin on July 1.
The hospital currently has 129 beds but there are plans to increase that number to 190.
