Police said Thai national, Alom Ellia Trook, age 20, was killed instantly when he was driving from Patong to Karon. His bike crossed the centre line and was hit by a tuk tuk coming from the other direction.
The tuk tuk driver suffered serious head injuries and is now in Vachira Hospital.
