Kriengkrai Muangkot is still searching for his mother, Boonna Muangkot, who he last saw in May 2011. “She went to talk to a neighbour before she disappeared. She may have gone back to her hometown, or gotten lost in the woods behind her house.”
“She has a problem with her memory but she has never lost her way back home before. I am quite worried because she speaks only the Isarn dialect, so can’t communicate with people in Phuket.” Mr Kriengkrai said.
Ms Boonna, 65, originally from Mukdaharn province in north-eastern Thailand, was last seen wearing a blue nightgown. Her feet were bare and also suffers from gout in her legs, which makes it hard for her to walk.
If you have any information about the whereabouts of Ms Boonna please contact Mr Kriengkrai on 081- 592-9212 or 083-905-7013. Or contact Phuket Provincial Social Development and Human Security office on 076-212-726.
