The locally-owned and -operated resort features a large elevated poolscape overlooking the bay, surrounded by modern-tropical suites and pool villas, a jungle nature trail, a mini nine-hole golf course and a private “hillside beach”, Kalima Sands, which doubles as a nightlife venue.
Phuket-based developer The Cape View Resort & Spa Co., has invested B1.1 billion in the new 190-room luxury resort, which is located on 26 rai of land that slopes up to 79 metres above Kalim Beach.
Managing Director Paponphat Niyomadul said, “We aim to give our guests a truly unique experience with a very contemporary back-to-nature theme offering a variety of excellent accommodation options for single travellers, couples and family groups alike.”
GM Somchai Suwannagate stressed, “Behind the scenes we have many energy-saving and ecologically-sound practices built into the resort such as energy-efficient air conditioning, and we used non-toxic construction materials.”
