The area’s OrBorTor administration started working on the new football ground in October last year, and expect it to be ready for use in November. The
Ma-ann Samran, the president of the Cherng Talay OrBorTor told The Phuket News: “We finished the [main stand] building and installed electricity lines for the ground in April. Next we will be preparing the grass.
“Our budget is B19 million from the OrBorTor, for the building and football field, which are nearly finished.
"[When the project is complete] there will be be the football field, a kids’ playground, a jogging track, benches to relax on, parking for 200 cars, toilets, restaurants and a skateboard park,” Mr Samran said.
“Our purpose is to support children. After the football field is completed in November 2013, I will create a football club to encourage young football players.”
