A fisherman was found dead on Rawai beach last weekend after attempting to move his boat during high tide.
Chalong police reported the death of 43-year-old Masen Bangjak from Baan Bang Khon Tee on Sunday (April 17) at 10.30 am.
No signs of visible injury were found on Mr Masen’s body, and witnesses told police they found him shortly after he went to bring his boat closer to the beach during high tide.
It is assumed at this stage the man fainted and drowned, but his body has been sent for an autopsy at Vachira Hospital to determine the cause of death.
