Patong police arrested Nakorn Rachasima resident, 25-year-old Pachawee Paengbutrdee, in an apartment building on Soi Jintana. He was charged with assault and battery, along with robbing the tourist.
Police said the Kuwaiti tourist had “hired” Pachawee “to come up and drink with him”.
