His partner, Adul Martpanya, 33, reported him missing to Chalong police after he failed to find Mr Nipon at the cape, where they had arranged to meet to discuss solutions to a quarrel between them.
A team of rescue divers was called to the scene. They took around three hours to discover Mr Nipon’s body in the water.
