In that robbery he made off with B900,000 from the Kasikorn Bank branch at Tesco Lotus on Chao Fa East Rd.
Today police took him to that branch to re-enact the robbery. Watched by officers led by Pol Lt Col Yongyuth Krongmalai, Pol Lt Col Niwit Eng-Chuan and Pol Lt Col Wiwat Chamnankij, he first sat astride his parked motorbike, sizing up the situation.
He then put on his full-face helmet, walked into the bank and straight up to a teller, pointed his gun at her and told her to put money in the bag, just as he did during last Wednesday’s robbery. After grabbing the bag he then ran back to his motorcycle.
After the re-enactment, police took Anudit back to the police station for further questioning before putting him back behind bars.
Pol Lt Col Sian Kaewthong, heading up the investigation, said that it is almost complete and that police will soon hand the case over to the Public Prosecutor’s office in readiness for Anudit’s trial.
