Hundreds of players and more than a dozen overseas teams across Asia and Australia are taking part in the latest tournament, now in its 15th year on the island.
The event starts today at the Thanyapura Sports and Leisure Club (TSLC) in Thalang with the “Coffin Dodgers” veterans’ Rugby 10s competition. The main matches and a youth rugby competition will be held on Saturday and Sunday.
Teams from Australia, Japan, Taiwan and Singapore will take part, as well as local hosts the Phuket Vagabonds.
