IBAP gets a bit edgy

PHUKET: The International Business Association of Phuket (IBAP), having had a run of heavyweight guest speakers including the head of Google Thailand, Ariya Banomyong, crisis management expert Richard Hancock, and political commentators Dr Thitinan Pongsudhirak and Voranai Vanijaka, opted for something a little different for its most recent meeting.

Packing them in at Urban Food in Central Festival last Friday (September 14) was Peter ‘Razor’ Slade, Australian soldier and mercenary, who has fought on battlefields as far apart as Vietnam, Cambodia, Africa and Iraq, and is now retired in Phuket.

Mr Slade regaled members and guests with tales of his many exploits, now also recorded in a book he has written, Razor’s Edge.
