The 55-key resort is the most recent addition to the Holiday Inn brand and is “designed to cater for travellers seeking an idyllic getaway”. This is only the first phase – the resort is to be expanded, explained general manager Steve Ng.

“By October 2013 we plan to announce the complete opening of our 188-room property to the public,” Mr Ng said.

The new wing of the property will house the Holiday Inn Kid Suites, offering private areas for both parents and children, each with separate sleeping berths. The kids’ section of each suite comes with a bunk bed and a play corner that includes a flat screen TV, a DVD player and a game console.

Three resort swimming pools will also surround the new wing, one of them with a large water slide.

The resort currently has a choice of four room types, ranging between 45sqm and 95sqm. The 19 Deluxe Rooms offer all the Holiday Inn standard amenities and 45sqm of free living space and balcony views, while the 21 Pool Access Rooms, also 45 sqm, are all on the ground floor next to the pool.

There are 13 65-sqm Grand Deluxe Suites and two Penthouse Suites of 95 sqm each. All rooms have free wireless internet access and iPod docks.
