PHUKET: The new Aphrodite cabaret show, at the former Phuket Brewery on the bypass road opposite Tesco-Lotus in Phuket town, will open with its inaugural show at 7pm tomorrow night (September 29).

The ‘Indian show’ at the new Aphrodite cabaret in Phuket Town, which will feature some 80 katoey performers.
Manager Siri Jaringtakul declined to say how much had been spent on the venue’s makeover, but said that the reconstruction was divided into two parts; the cabaret theatre and the new sukiyaki restaurant. The venue can seat 900 people at a time.
The operators are a Bangkok outfit with experience of cabaret shows in the capital. Staff will total 100 people, including 80 katoey (ladyboy) performers from both Bangkok and Phuket.
