PHUKET: Roberto Di Matteo, the Italian footballer and former Chelsea boss, has been spotted in Phuket.

Di Matteo was seen at the Acqua restaurant in Patong last night, where he joined owner and chef Allesandro Frau - an Italian compatriot - for a few photographs.
Di Matteo was summarily replaced as manager of the west London football team Chelsea in November, after the side suffered a series of defeats.
But many Chelsea fans think Di Matteo was axed far too quickly, given that he had guided Chelsea to a maiden Champions League title just months before.
