This year’s festival, the 27th, will run from December 15 to 20.
A variety of food stalls will open everyday at 10 am, staying open until the end of each day’s entertainment.
On the first day will be the traditional riotously colourful parade, starting at 5 pm from Patong's Soi Ton off Phang Muang Sai Kor Rd (near the Leelawadee Boutique Hotel) and heading along the road to the beach, turning right and finishing at the Laemphet football field (opposite Loma Park).
Stage shows starring Chaiya Mitchai and Kop Taxi will kick off at 7.50 pm on Dec 15 on different stages – one at the football field and the other on Bangla Rd.
The concert headliners on other nights will include comedy band Pong Lang Sa-on, Swedish looktung singer Jonas Anderson and Dutch singer Christy Gibson, and southern heroes Labanoon.
