Police issued a sketch of the wanted man in early December and have issued an arrested warrant.
Chalong Superintendent Police Colonel Krittapas Det-intarasorn described the man as being about 180 centimeters tall, dark skinned, aged between 20 and 25, and speaking Thai with a southern accent.
Col Krittapas said that police are still looking for the man.
“We are still searching for him, though we have had no luck. There are advantages and disadvantages to making the sketch public.” he said. "It may be that his relatives saw the sketch and are helping him to hide. But we are not giving up."
A reward of B50,000 is still being offered for information leading to the man’s arrest.
“We need help from the public. If anyone sees someone matching this sketch, they should call Chalong police on 085 900 0060 or 076 381 247 at any time of day or night,” Col Krittipas said.
