Entries open for entertainer contest

Young Phuket people looking for a stage to show off their talents are invited to join the Andaman Entertainer Contest 2011.

Friday 18 March 2011, 07:13AM

Young Phuket people looking for a stage to show off their talents are invited to join the Andaman Entertainer Contest 2011, one of many events that will accompany the upcoming 11th annual Andaman Motor Show in the Homeworks mall from March 30 to April 4.

Candidates must be between eight and 24 years old, and applications from individuals or groups are welcome.

Applicants can put on any kind of show they like – singing, playing music, dancing – or anything else they think may impress the judges. They must bring with them all equipment and costumes needed for their performance.

The first round of the contest will be held on April 2. Those who most impress the judges will go through to the final the following day.

The winner, or winners, of the contest will receive a B10,000 prize, with second and third places winning B8,000 and B5,000 respectively. The awards will also come with gift vouchers and award plates.

Application forms can be collected from now until March 28 from the information desks at Homeworks and Central Festival, Phuket. Alternatively they may be downloaded from nd-productions.com.

Completed forms should be handed in to the information desks or faxed to 076 241 114.

For more information contact ND Productions, Tel 08 6470 6649.
