The baby was found among garbage dumped illegally near the Anuphas Honda showroom on Chao Fah West Rd.
Vichit police said the baby was found by ragpickers who went to the illegal dump to rummage for plastic bottles to sell for recycling.
Police have launched an investigation to try and find the baby’s mother and the person who dumped the child.
