Celebrating American Independence Day in Phuket
PHUKET: Join local Americans and their friends for America’s Independence Day celebration on Sunday July 1 at the HeadStart International School in Kathu, across from Makro.

There’s free entry for everyone and games for the kids, jumping playcastles, egg toss and tug-of-war competitions and even a traditional watermelon seed spitting contest. Gates open at noon.
A great selection of American foods will be available like apple pie, hot dogs and hamburgers, roasted corn, Tex-Mex ribs and tacos, American sandwiches, ice cream and watermelon. Highlighting the food stalls will be four brands of real American beer.
Displays will include a few antique American cars and military jeeps,balloon artists, clowns, face-painters, a real Uncle Sam, a live band playing lively American music and fireworks at sunset.
