Those involved in the first-time event will use their own cars to visit various tourist attractions such as the Bang Pae Waterfall and Kathu Mining Museum, finishing up at the Phuket Aquarium at midday.
From there participants will have lunch and then take a ferry to Koh Mai Thon, where sea anemones, seahorses, turtles, sea bass, shrimp and clown fish will be released into the ocean.
The aim is to help replenish the once plentiful sea-life in the Andaman Sea.
On board the ferry there will be a drawing competition, and a cocktail party and awards ceremony later.
A maximum of 100 cars can take part, and the entry fee is B1,999 for two people, which includes two t-shirts. Extra people are B500 each.
