Phuket Police Commander Maj Gen Choti Chavalviwat said today (January 23) that footage from a CCTV camera about 200 metres past the Kwang Rd intersection showed the suspects, but the images were of very poor quality.
The footage has been sent to the Forensics Centre in Bangkok where attempts will be made to enhance the images.
Gen Choti added that so far 10 of her former colleagues have been questioned about Mrs Jintana’s work at the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa.
They have already ruled out any romantic conflict leading to her murder, and are focusing on a work dispute as the possible motive.
Mrs Jintana previously worked at Anantara, but had been working at the Hilton for six months.
“She was very straight-talking, and because of her position and personality, it is likely she had disputes or problems with colleagues,” Maj Gen Choti said.
Mrs Jintana was driving a white Chevrolet car north on Chao Fa West Rd around 8.30 pm on Friday night when she was killed by a single shot, fired through the driver’s side window.
Police said she died instantly, and her car continued until it crashed into a lamp post beside the road.
Her killers were believed to be travelling on a motorbike.
