The Phuket Cricket Group (PCG) is pleased to announce that Outrigger Resorts is once again the naming sponsor of the annual T20 cricket league for the 4th consecutive year.

This season, the OutriggerT20 will feature four teams – Island Cricket Club (ICC), Laguna Cricket Club (LCC), Patong Cricket Club (PCC) and Thalang Cricket Team (TCT).

The league will consist of a round-robin format with two games played per Sunday. The first game is in the morning starting at 11am, and the second game starting 2:30pm.

This format makes it great for spectators as they get to watch two action packed games from the comfort of the pavilion and enjoy the food and beverages served from the ACG’s Boundary Bar all day.

To kick-off the season, PCC will play TCT, this followed by LCC playing ICC.

Semi finals are set to be played on Oct 16 with the winners progressing to the Outrigger Resorts T20 final to be held Oct 30.

Following the T20 final, the 40 over league (T40) will start.

The Alan Cooke Ground is a purpose built cricketing facility in Thalang offering players and spectators first class facility to play and enjoy watching cricket. Everyone is welcome and the ground is very child friendly.

The Phuket News and Live 89.5 have this year signed on as the PCG/ACG official media partner. Phuket’s No. 1 source of news and radio will be covering all of the runs, wickets and community events held at the ACG throughout 2016.
